In this video architect David Chipperfield talks about his design for the MOKA – a reinterpretation of the iconic Italian Bialetti coffeepot from the 1930s. His work is the latest in a series coffee maker-designs Alessi started in 1979.
No doubt – the result is a contemporary object which is inspired by Art déco and has the potential to become a timeless classic.
