No doubt, actor, musician, DJ, producer and automotive aficionado Idris Elba had a lot of fun shooting the promotion-video for the Grand Basel car show, which was released last may. He had the opportunity to drive some of the most iconic vehikels in car history: An Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GS Zagato (1931) and a Lancia Sibilo Bertone prototype by Marcello Gandini (1978) for example. Who can watch this video and not see the next James Bond. Of Course – Elba. Idris Elba said NO to any speculations, but there is still time left – and time brings changes. So there is hope for Elba-Fans to see their darling as 007 eventually. The video was shot in the iconic Lingotto automobile factory in Turin. The Grand Basel car show takes place from 6th to 9th of September in Basel (Switzerland).
